#THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS: COMFORTING TWEETS FROM POWERFUL HYPOCRITES
In response to the Pulse Nightclub shooting, our nation’s pro-gun politicians took to Twitter once again expressing their thoughts and prayers.
In an effort to take action I pitched an idea to collect these post-shooting tweets over the years and created a book of prayers to call out their hypocrisy.
We ended up raising over $20,000 for the Brady Center and got Sarah Silverman to write the book’s foreword.
The book was featured on The Huffington Post, Creativity, and Oregon Live it was also written up in Portland Monthly Magazine.
